(TED Ideas worth spreading, 2012)

Many science teachers face many problems at school. The most perplexing of them is that students do not understand scientific concepts.

Science teachers need a more familiar approach.

The emphasis in the above video is story telling. Storytelling and explaining difficult science concepts will help students understand them more easily.

Storytelling is not just important in science education. In teachers doing the act of education, students should be the protagonists. Students will be more interested in familiar stories than in difficult concepts. The important concept is following interesting. Interest can be said to be the basis of all education.

I think Educational Technology is one of the tools that draws interest. I think it is the purpose of EduTech to induce students’ interest through various multimedia rather than hard and boring books and blackboards.
