What?

Through this Literature, I learned about the history and circumstances of online education and how to implement for effective online education. I also found what efforts should be made to improve the teaching methods and expertise of online educators.

So What?

In particular, I figured out how educator and learner interactions such as posting and feedback in online education and, moreover, the special competencies that online educators must possess. Among them, the management competency is very essential for the online educator because of the nature of the online education that cannot actually face the learner. Also interesting was the fact that online education is also possible with group work although face-to-face group work is not possible at the same time.

Now What?

Everytime, I insist, I think online education should be more active in the future. The solution to the limitations of online education is well illustrated in this document. As an educator who prepares for online education, I should consider and prepare more about the competencies and methods of online educator.
